Welcome to the Client Framework

This is the documentation site for the UTA Client Framework.

UTA is a client-centric, collaborative, integrated, and innovative agency and the job of the agency systems product team is to connect that unique culture to the delivery of software products that are responsive to that culture. The goal is to enhance the work of the people who build and maintain incredible relationships with their clients and customers.

The Client Framework is a product strategy that helps realize this mission, focusing on the secure flow of financial information throughout the agency's systems.

Client Framework Products

The client framework is designed to be implemented as a set of products, most of which operate as headless services accessed via APIs. Each of these products are meant to be independently built and evolved over time:

Authoritative DataThe source for data about the people and organizations the agency cares about, and the relationships between them
Deal EngineA backend service that allows storage of and computation against the terms of agency financial transactions as they evolve through the sales cycle
Client ProcessingThe engine of the UTA marketplace: collects payments, records revenue, pays deal participants, and ensures our clients are paid rapidly and accurately
Netsuite / FinancialsUTA's Financial System (General Ledger, etc)
Departmental SystemsTailored to workflows unique to UTA’s diverse but unified businesses; a combination of custom and off-the-shelf applications that appear bespoke to our customers but rely on a standard platform underneath the surface
Deal Entry

An application that allows departments who do not yet have a departmental system integrated with deal management to enter deals and track payments against them
Analytics & PlanningReporting and insights that draw on multiple data sources to deliver intelligence to marketplace participants
Self-Service PortalsExperiences for both agents and externally facing marketplace participants such as clients (and client management), buyers, and deal participants
