Deal Data Element

Deals represent the foundational data construct that defines and manages commercial agreements. It consists of a DEAL table, which captures key details such as the deal name, reference, duration, and active status, and a DEAL_PARTY table, which identifies the parties participating in the deal along with their associated commission structures.

The DEAL table serves as the central record for each agreement, while DEAL_PARTY links individual parties and their financial entitlements to the deal. Together, these tables provide a complete framework for managing deal relationships, ensuring accurate attribution of deal participants, and supporting downstream processes such as settlements and payments.
